Run your Technical Interview
Run your technical interview inside Qube
Open the problem. Work through it together. Qube brings the candidate, interviewer, and shared computer into one cloud room, so the discussion stays connected to the work being done.
Bring the material the meeting needs
- A bounded repository or debugging task
- Sample data and the documentation candidates may use
- A clear policy on permitted AI and other assistance
From preparation to review
Before the session
Prepare an exercise that can be completed in the agreed time. Test the tools and joining devices. Tell the candidate which assistance is allowed, how the session is observed, and whether it will be recorded.
Inside the room
Work in the shared environment. Ask the candidate to investigate a failure, explain a tradeoff, or revise an approach as requirements change. Keep the conversation connected to the actions inside the room.
After the meeting
Review the result alongside the authorized session record. Apply the same role-specific criteria to the reasoning, testing, and communication. Keep the record under the agreed access and retention policy.
Give the candidate something worth investigating
A small service with a failing test can reveal how someone forms a hypothesis, checks it, and recovers when it is wrong. A design change can reveal how they interpret requirements. Choose the task for the role rather than relying on a polished final answer.
The shared cloud computer gives both sides a place to inspect the same state. Bring only the code and data needed for the exercise. Use prepared material instead of exposing a production repository or live customer credentials.
Make the assistance policy visible
Set the AI policy before the candidate joins. Put every approved tool inside the Qube workspace and design the task around the skill the team intends to evaluate.
Qube keeps the repository, tools, and working state inside its cloud workspace. End-to-end encrypted media, protected delivery, context enforcement, security events, acoustic safeguards, and a paired surroundings view protect the interview.
What teams ask about Qube
Can Qube help with hidden AI interview assistance?
Yes. Qube keeps the work inside its cloud room, protects the delivered stream from ordinary local software capture on supported clients, enforces meeting context, and records security events for review.
Can candidates use approved AI during the exercise?
Yes. Your team defines the assistance policy and permitted tools before the session. When AI is allowed, the shared workspace shows how the candidate directs, checks, and improves the result, while the interviewer keeps the final hiring judgment.
Is this the same as a final-round panel?
Technical interviews center on live problem-solving. Final rounds center on a presentation, role-specific discussion, and panel follow-up. Qube gives both formats their own protected workflow.
Qube protects the whole session
Qube encrypts live meeting media end to end, runs the shared work inside its secured cloud room, and protects the stream delivered to supported clients. Context enforcement, security events, acoustic safeguards, a paired surroundings view, and forensic watermarking secure the people and devices around the work.
Read the protection coverage and retention policy. Destruction of the temporary workspace is separate from retention of an authorized meeting record.
