Demo your Stealth Product

Show the product before you show the world

Bring the prototype. Work through it together inside Qube. Show invited participants how the product behaves while keeping the demonstration’s working environment in the cloud room.

Bring the material the meeting needs

  • A prepared demo build and suitable sample data
  • The files and tools needed to explore the workflow
  • A list of invited participants and permitted follow-up material

From preparation to review

  1. Before the session

Prepare a demonstration environment with limited access and safe sample data. Test the exact application and participant devices. Agree on confidentiality, questions, and whether recording is appropriate.

  2. Inside the room

Walk through the unreleased workflow and investigate the questions that matter. Use the shared computer to show behavior or inspect supporting material without making the session depend on your personal desktop.

  3. After the meeting

Send the follow-up material you agreed to share. Close the temporary working session and apply the selected retention policy to any authorized record. Keep a clear distinction between the demo environment and the product’s production systems.

Let the questions lead into the prototype

An unreleased product often needs explanation that a recorded video cannot provide. A prospective partner may want to see an edge case or understand why a workflow behaves a particular way. A live room gives you a place to work through that question together.

Prepare only what is needed for the demonstration. Do not expose production credentials or assume the meeting controls can compensate for overly broad access inside the application you are showing.

Show the work with a clear sharing agreement

Decide which participants may attend and what may be retained. A protected presentation can reduce some software-capture exposure on supported devices, but it cannot eliminate physical cameras or a participant’s later disclosure.

Use that boundary honestly. Qube is a place to demonstrate and collaborate around the product; it does not replace your confidentiality arrangements or determine when a product is ready for public disclosure.

Questions before the meeting

Can someone still film the demonstration?

A camera pointed at the display remains outside the software boundary. Environmental visibility and attribution may help address the risk, but this page does not promise that filming is impossible.

Do we need to upload our production product?

Prepare a suitable demo environment and only the material needed for the session. Confirm application support in advance. Use limited credentials and sample data rather than treating the meeting as a reason to expose production access.

Can this be a live product walkthrough rather than a slide deck?

Yes, evaluate the relevant application and tools in the shared workspace. Walk through the exact workflow before the confidential session so support and permissions are established.

Understand the protection you will use

Qube runs the shared work in a trusted cloud session. Protection of the delivered view and audio depends on the client and policy. Check the intended devices, physical-capture risks, and authorized recording arrangements before sensitive work.

Read the protection coverage and retention policy. Destruction of the temporary workspace is separate from retention of an authorized meeting record.
