Share Sensitive IP

Work on sensitive IP together inside Qube

Open the design, inspect the code, and discuss the change in the same room. Qube gives collaborators a shared cloud workspace for the sensitive work they need to review together.

Bring the material the meeting needs

  • A limited set of approved source files or design documents
  • The tools needed to inspect the work
  • A clear participant list and agreement on permitted outputs

From preparation to review

  1. Before the session

Choose the minimum material needed for the review and remove unrelated secrets or personal data. Confirm collaborator access, supported devices, tool availability, and the handling of recordings and follow-up files.

  2. Inside the room

Work through the material in the shared environment. Inspect a change, compare alternatives, or investigate a behavior together. Keep the discussion connected to the same working state.

  3. After the meeting

Deliver approved outputs through your agreed process. Close the temporary workspace and follow the separate retention policy for any authorized record. Document what collaborators are permitted to keep.

Review the same version together

A sensitive review can lose context when several people work from different copies. A shared environment gives the group one place to inspect the relevant files and the reasoning behind a change.

That does not mean every file becomes impossible to extract. The tools used inside the session and the permissions you grant still matter. Prepare a bounded review environment rather than assuming the cloud location solves every information-handling problem.

Decide which boundary you need

Keeping execution in a cloud workspace, encrypting the connection, restricting a delivered view, and tracing a copy are separate controls. Choose the combination for the material and the participants, then verify it on the actual joining devices.

A physical camera, an external microphone, and a person’s ability to repeat what they learn remain relevant. A useful security discussion explains those limits before the review, alongside the workflow that Qube supports.

Questions before the meeting

Does cloud execution mean no information can leave?

No universal prevention claim follows from cloud execution. Application permissions, export paths, the delivered view, audio, physical devices, and human disclosure all need to be considered.

Can outside collaborators join the review?

Use the invitation and admission workflow appropriate to the session, and confirm each participant’s device can satisfy the intended policy. Decide who is authorized before sharing sensitive material.

Is an NDA or other confidentiality arrangement still relevant?

Your organization should decide the agreements required for its collaborators. Qube supplies a working environment and configured controls; it does not replace the organization’s information-sharing decisions.

Understand the protection you will use

Qube runs the shared work in a trusted cloud session. Protection of the delivered view and audio depends on the client and policy. Check the intended devices, physical-capture risks, and authorized recording arrangements before sensitive work.

Read the protection coverage and retention policy. Destruction of the temporary workspace is separate from retention of an authorized meeting record.
