Your collaboration suite and your meeting room

Qube vs Microsoft Teams

Teams organizes everyday collaboration. Qube secures the live session where sensitive files are opened, discussed, and changed. It gives the meeting its own protected computer instead of trusting every participant endpoint.

Two products. Two different security boundaries.

Microsoft Teams security boundary

Teams connects meetings to Microsoft 365 identity, chat, documents, and administration. Shared content still renders on participant devices beside local apps, extensions, AI tools, and recorders.

Qube protected cloud room

Qube isolates the sensitive session inside one cloud computer. Participants work in the same controlled environment, local applications stay outside the protected stream, and every security event remains tied to the session record.

Compare the security boundary

Qube secures the meeting, shared computer, files, applications, delivered stream, and review evidence as one room. Microsoft Teams protects the capabilities documented in its product materials. The table makes the difference explicit.

Qube protects more than the call

Encryption and trust

Teams offers end-to-end encryption for meeting media. Qube encrypts live media end to end and adds protected presentation, cloud execution, session enforcement, and environmental controls around the decrypted meeting.

Where the work runs

Teams distributes collaboration across participant devices and Microsoft 365 services. Qube centralizes the live work in one disposable cloud workspace so the meeting does not create a new local copy for every attendee.

Recording and review

Qube keeps the authorized recording, transcript, workspace activity, and security events together. The temporary computer closes after the meeting while the approved review record follows its defined access and retention policy.

Bring an outside reviewer into the work

An external specialist needs access to the design, tools, and current working state. Sending those assets through chat, email, or ordinary screen sharing expands the endpoint boundary.

Qube gives the group one protected working environment. Load the approved material, admit the authorized participants, and complete the review without distributing the workspace.

Apply one security policy to the whole room

Teams spreads encryption, watermarking, recording, and client support across separate meeting configurations. Those controls still protect a call running beside local participant software.

Qube applies one session policy to the participant devices, protected-delivery level, shared tools, recording access, and review workflow before the room opens.

Decide what leaves the room

Define the approved deliverable and review record before the meeting. Qube closes the temporary workspace and releases only the outputs your policy authorizes.

The result is a clean boundary: work happens in Qube, approved outputs leave through the designated channel, and retained evidence stays under reviewer access controls.

What teams ask about Qube

Does Teams support E2EE for meetings?

Yes. Teams offers end-to-end encrypted meetings. Qube combines end-to-end encrypted media with the shared cloud computer, protected output, local-app isolation, and session evidence Teams does not provide as one room.

Are Teams watermarks the same as preventing capture?

No. A watermark identifies content after it is copied. Qube also uses a protected presentation path to resist ordinary software capture before the copy is created.

How does Qube fit with Microsoft 365?

Keep Microsoft 365 for email, documents, identity, and everyday collaboration. Run the high-stakes live session in Qube, where the computer, delivered stream, participant context, and review evidence are protected together.
